**Take off from a muddy airfield, shoot down the enemy, bomb their bridges and land again before you run out of fuel.**

Aces & Bases is a side-scrolling biplane arcade game set in the First WorldWar. Fly for No. 41 Squadron from the fields of France to the peaks of the Italian Alps: dogfight scouts and fighters, dive-bomb tanks and trains, dodge the flak, and bring your plane home in one piece. Every landing counts - your airfield refuels, rearms and patches you up between sorties.

### Two campaigns, 32 missions

- **The Western Front** - 4 training flights and 12 missions over the trenches: convoys, bridges, flak alleys, a night train and a raid on the enemy aerodrome.

- **The Mountain Front** - 3 Mountain School flights and 13 missions in the Alps. Fly through valleys and over ridges, ride updrafts, fight in thin air where your engine gasps, burn observation balloons, shoot down cable cars, catch an armored train between its tunnels, and bomb a snow slope to bury a whole camp under an avalanche.

- **A rival ace** - The Crow, a black Albatros who keeps coming back, untilthe final mission: a giant zeppelin over the mountains in a storm.

### Fly it your way

- A real (but forgiving) flight model: stalls, energy, wind - and landings that need a gentle touch.

- Earn medals and spend them in the hangar on **12 upgrades** - engines,

armor, guns, bombs, Le Prieur rockets, incendiary rounds, a supercharger, anti-aircraft guns for your field - and **4 aircraft**.

- In the Alps, bail out over your own lines and live to fly again.

- Weather that matters: clouds to hide in, dusk, rain, storms, snowfall and valley fog.

- **Last Stand** - hold Marlowe Field against endless waves of raiders.

- **Last Stand: Eagle's Perch** - the same, on a snowy mountain plateau, with

The Crow leading every fifth wave and a zeppelin every tenth.

- **The Long Offensive** - push the front forward one generated sector at a time, from France to the Alps and back.

- Records, mode-only rewards and **8 paint schemes** to unlock.
